Gunfire Hits Rihanna’s Los Angeles Home

On Sunday afternoon, 8 March, 2026, the Los Angeles residence of global superstar Rihanna was targeted in a terrifying shooting incident. 

Around 1:15 p.m., a suspect driving a white Tesla stopped across from the Beverly Crest property and fired approximately 10 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that Rihanna was inside the home at the time of the attack. While no injuries were reported, at least one bullet pierced an exterior wall of the mansion, and several rounds struck the front gate and an RV parked in the driveway. 

It remains unconfirmed whether her partner, A$AP Rocky, or their three young children were present during the shooting.

The LAPD quickly tracked the vehicle to a shopping centre in Sherman Oaks, where they arrested Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, a 35-year-old woman from Florida. Ortiz has been booked on suspicion of attempted murder, with bail set at a staggering $10.2 million.

Investigators are currently reviewing the suspect’s social media activity, which reportedly included a threatening post directed at the singer on 23 February. 

Following the event, reports indicate that Rihanna has significantly increased her private security and temporarily relocated her family for their safety.
